Practising since: 2012
James Voss brings a wealth of urological expertise to Dorset, having qualified from the University of London in 2012 and honed his skills through surgical training in Nottingham and the Wessex region. His specialized training culminated in a year at Bristol's Southmead Hospital, focusing on intricate robotic kidney procedures, before returning to University Hospitals Dorset in 2023.

Mr. Voss's practice encompasses the full spectrum of urological conditions, from cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testicle, and penis, to benign prostatic hyperplasia, lower urinary tract symptoms, infections, bladder pain, and men's health issues like erectile dysfunction, infertility, and vasectomy. He also has a particular interest in adolescent urology.

Beyond general urology, Mr. Voss possesses a specialized skillset in managing adrenal gland conditions and performing adrenalectomies, often utilizing minimally invasive robotic techniques. His surgical repertoire includes both robotic and open procedures for complex cancers (nephrectomy, partial cystectomy, ileal conduit urinary diversion, partial nephrectomy, nephro-ureterectomy, and adrenalectomy), as well as common urological procedures like cystoscopy, TURP, TURBT, circumcision, vasectomy, and hydrocele repair.

His special interests lie in all benign and malignant urological conditions, with a further focus on adrenal conditions and their surgical management. He speaks English.
At Omnium Urology, Mr. Voss offers a range of treatments and tests, including vasectomy reversal, prostate surgery (including TURP), orchidectomy, circumcision, penile lesion biopsies, and vasectomy.
